When lab testing is part of your service, your health and intake details are collected and held by our independent lab partner, under their own privacy practices — not by this website.

Payments are processed by our platform and payment providers; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services of Fundamenta Wellness LLC (“Fundamenta,” “we,” “us”). By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. Our services are available only to residents of the United States and are not available to residents of New York.
What we provide
Fundamenta provides educational and nutritional coaching services focused on metabolic health, including lab panel review and educational guides. Laboratory testing is ordered and provided by an independent third-party lab partner and performed by an independent laboratory. Our review of your results is educational; it is not medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Please see our Medical Disclaimer for details.
Not medical care. Fundamenta is not a medical provider, and Michael Rutherford is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), not a licensed physician. Nothing we provide is medical advice, and we never direct you to start, stop, or change any medication. Those decisions rest solely with you and your prescribing provider.
Purchases and payment
Prices for our services are listed at checkout and are shown in U.S. dollars. By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown, including any applicable taxes. You are responsible for providing accurate and current billing information.
Refunds
The following refund policy applies to the Decode Your Metabolism purchase:
- Before your lab order is placed: full refund.
- After your lab order is placed, but before your blood is drawn: a refund of your purchase price less a $50 processing fee (for example, $299 − $50 = $249).
- After your blood has been drawn: non-refundable, as your testing and review are already underway.

Lab testing and third parties
To complete your service, you will submit your personal and health information to our independent lab partner so they can place your lab order. That partner and the performing laboratory operate under their own terms and privacy practices, which govern the collection and handling of your health information. Scheduling and attending your blood draw is your responsibility, and timelines depend on when you complete these steps.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete information
- Follow preparation instructions (such as fasting) for accurate results
- Make all medical and medication decisions in partnership with your qualified healthcare provider
- Use our content and services only for your own personal, non-commercial use
Intellectual property
All content we provide — including guides, videos, lab reviews, text, and design — is owned by or licensed to Fundamenta and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use it for your personal use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
Testimonials and results
Any testimonials or results shared reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee of similar outcomes. Results vary from person to person, and any medication changes described were made by the individual’s own prescribing provider.
Disclaimer of warranties
Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or will achieve any particular result.
Limitation of liability

Fundamenta interprets and educates you about your results; it does not perform testing or provide clinical laboratory services.
